Day 78: Experimenting with new recipes
I’ve been doing some experimenting with new recipes tonight and a recipe I tried was melted peanut butter in the microwave mixed with muesli to make an oat cake thing. The idea comes from melting down chocolate and then mixing them with riced cereals. The result? The peanut butter was very strong and took over the taste of the cake really. But I quite like peanut butter so it was alrighty for me, however I can’t see the idea catching on.
I played about an hour and a half of squash today which was a brilliant cardio workout, I really do enjoy playing squash and it’s fantastic for my workout plan. I also did a workout today – this is based on splitting the body into 4 different areas and working each area out 3 times a week, with 2 areas being worked out each day not forgetting a day of rest.
Sweet jacket potatoes for dinner, for those of you that don’t follow the body blog on a regular basis – I replace normal potatoes with sweet potatoes in every instance whether its mash, boiled, roast or jacket. Not only are they a lot better nutritionally but they also taste better in my opinion.
