Day 80: Start of a new phase?
I, like most people, go through phases with my food and I think I’m going to go through a cous cous phase. I got this particular packet of cous cous from Tesco for about £1.20. It’s wholewheat – so packed with added goodness – and you can easily make about 6-8 servings out of the packet. Absolute bargain in my opinion and is a great alternative to bread, rice of pasta. For my lunch tomorrow, that I prepared today I whipped up a salad that has beetroot, tomato, pepper, tuna and cous cous. Nothing fancy about it… just all thrown into a tub and I will take it to work tomorrow and have a health lunch, what’s more – it’s a lunch that I would pick if I wasn’t being health conscious.
The image in this post is from my afternoon snack which also was a salad with cous cous in. That had ham in it and was just as good.
Some changes that you might notice around the site include: changing the background, putting a small border around the content, changing the fonts and colours of the site slightly, making the forum look more like the website (as I use WordPress for the site and phpBB for the forum) and I’ve added a few more games to the arcade on the forum. I am creating pages slowly but surely and hopefully the pages will be packed with useful information. Today I’ve created a page for motivational music (under fitness) and the British GDAs (under Nutrition). More to come soon!

30 reps on each side: Side bends with 10kg dumbbell

30 reps: Holding 2x dumbbells above shoulders and turning from side to side
30 reps: Squats with 2x 10kg dumbbells

6.00pm: Fish finger and baked beans sandwich

8.30pm: Small salad with cous cous, spinach leaves, red pepper, beetroot and tuna
