Raw Guest Host History
On June 15 2009, there was a special 3 hour edition of Monday Night Raw. Vince McMahon made the announcement that Donald Trump had purchased Raw from Vince McMahon. Donald Trump appeared on the titantron and announced that the June 22 edition of Raw would be advert-free for the first time in Raw’s history.
On June 22 2009, Donald Trump appeared in person on Raw and announced that he would appreciate the WWE Universe by having celebrity guest hosts run Raw each week and give everyone who attended the June 22 edition of Raw their money back for the tickets. Vince McMahon didn’t like the way Donald Trump was running Raw so he bought back Raw at twice the price Donald Trump paid for it and then subsequently fired Donald Trump.
On June 29 2009, Vince McMahon announced that each week a different guest host would manage Raw. The very first of which was on that night, Batista (who was out with an injury at that time).
From then on a different guest host would manage Raw each week, the list of guest hosts comprises wrestling legends and celebrities. We also have details of forthcoming Raw guest hosts in the list below.
